Tattoo - Worker bee, the symbol of Manchester.

This worker Bee was inked as a memory of the 2017 terrorist attacks at the Manchester City Arena which Asia attended and shaped who she is today. Fortunately, she wasn’t hurt but the experience was awful and took a long time to recover from and she is now very sensitive to loud noises.

At the time, she was in the middle of her GCSES  and the next day she went to school as normal. Two weeks after the attacks she attended the Memorial ‘One Love’ benefit concert which helped to re write the memories.

The tattoo is a symbol of solidarity and memory of the events that went on to shape her and still do.
